The Law For Leasing Hua Hin Real Estate
There is a growing interest in property leasing. This arises from the fact that Thailand property law says a foreigner will have restricted land ownership but can hold 100% interest in a land lease. Land leases in Hua Hin for foreigners are allowed for a maximum period of 30-years but there is always a possibility for renewing the land lease for another 30 years as well.
According to the Thailand property law, each land lease renewal agreed upon by foreigners has to be registered with the local land office and this is a mandatory requirement. Every time, a land lease is renewed or registered, taxes applicable under the law will be levied. If a land lease is taken for a period of two years then it need not be registered because the Thailand property law states that any lease up to three years doesn�t require registration.
The bottom line is that holding a land lease is much easier as compared to buying land in Thailand.
