Thailand is a growing real estate market as more and more foreign investors are looking at it from investment point of view. Thai Real-Estate is being considered by many retirees (as well as second time home-buyers) as the perfect investment option, owing to the low property tax in the country and not to mention the beautiful environment. In fact, Thailand is considered as one of the hottest Real-Estate targets in Asia because of the excellent value for money, situated in an inexpensive country welcoming foreigners.

The most popular Thai Property Investment options is a condominium. Buying a Villa involves land, which is a bit more complicated.

Housing in Thailand is available from, say, 10,000 USD and up to several millions, depending on the location and type.

The finest locations remains Hua-Hin and Phuket, but also Sura Thani (Khandom beach area), Phra Khanong, Jomtien Beach, Pattaya, Chonburi Beach (Pratamnak Hill), Chiang Mai, Vichuda Hills, Bangtao Bay, Manora Village.

Space starts from the smallest thinkable – 1-bed/1-bath! The more spacious ones typically has 2-bed/1-bath to 3-bed/2-bath. A penthouse would typically have around 4-bed/3-bath and some are even split in two for better privacy.

In the high end there are 2 and 3 story luxury villas. The ambitious Falcon Hill project, Hua Hin, is an excellent example.

Constructions are state of the art and facilitate an enriched life style - modern luxury - and are built environment friendly. This is also one of the most important reasons for several foreign nationals to invest in Thai real estate.

Despite global worries Thai property holds up.

Location, Staffing and Security
Some still choose to buy right next to the beach and enjoy the sunrise and the sunset.

In recent years a more 'retired' position, among greener surroundings, has become increasingly popular.

Property buyers in Thailand usually employ their own staff, who take care of the condo maintenance and various facilities offered to the condo owner. These facilities can include everything from cleaning of the premises to waste water handling, and from managing parking space to dry cleaning and grocery stores.

There is great security in a well-managed Thai property. You will in an established area usually not have to worry about theft, trespassing and other security problems.
